KRM is a psychological and educational research based consultancy. It is dedicated to raising academic standards through researching the impact of psychological theory and instructional principles on the teaching and learning process. KRM interventions for teaching literacy (reading, writing and spelling) and mathematics are based on 15 years of school-based research in some of the traditionally lowest attaining schools in the country with pupils from low-income families. KRM aims to ensure that all students, but particularly those from low income families, reach age and skill appropriate levels in literacy and maths by the time they are seven and eleven and to enable every student to gain a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade A*-C including English and mathematics.
